How to change your DNS servers and use Overplay SmartDNS May 03, 2013 Trying to use my japanese Hulu account : SmartDNS I have been using Overplay Smart DNS and it has been working like a charm and it's super affordable. But for some reason it is not working with my Windows 10 PC, and upon contacting their support they said they do not support the Japanese Hulu (even though it's in their options, so it is very misleading). SO! I am looking for a new DNS.

5/3/2015: We’ve talked to the engineering teams at Overplay and they will hopefully be rolling out a solution this week. Do keep an eye on our status page. Since last week we have had a number of reports that the SmartDNS by Overplay no longer works with the RTÉ player outside of Ireland. I have a VPN subscription, but I want to find something better, with less overhead. I am not using VPN when testing SmartDNS. Overplay support were not much help. They basically said it should not effect the speed. They gave me this DNS server address to use 196.46.189.54 I use speedtest.net to test from a UK server.
